People often refer to “Africa” as if it is a country rather than a continent. Well, it is a continent and home to 54 independent, unique countries with South Sudan being the latest addition in July 2011. Each country has its own currency, flag, anthem, history, cuisine, music, identity and blend of cultures. In fact, more than 2000 languages are spoken in Africa, and its 1 billion inhabitants. are made up of over 3000 distinct ethnic groups (Tribes). Africa is also bigger than most people think it is, even if they know it covers 30,221,000 sq km (11,679,000 sq miles). If you combine the USA, China, India, Europe and Japan – they all fit into Africa.

Africa is a continent with diversity! There are safe areas and also unsafe. You might decide to have a guide in the place you feel uncomfortable…also he can help you to understand the local language and they always know the goods plans!!

Yes, African men loves women, and they are not shy to makes advances, sometimes it is their only way to meet people. Africa is not only poverty, diseases, crimes…and all the media show on TVs. Africa is also joy, music, creativity, generosity and more so be ready sometimes to be welcomed as a queen or a princess…that is not suppose you have to give everything they will ask you! unfortunetely people are always in demand and you can’t help everybody who ask for money or wherever.

In general, in Africa, life is cheap for all the people who lives in Europe or America…
In many countries in Africa, you can eat with 2$ and have a simple and clean hotel room for 10$

Each experience in Africa is different for everybody and you need to have yours to make your own opinion!
